Everything I have ever wanted in life is on sale next week.
There are seriously so many good things on sale. I want to buy everything.
And that leads to my dilemma.

There are seriously so many good things on sale. I want to buy everything.
And that leads to my dilemma.
During our quest for Halloween candy sales a couple of weeks ago at Loblaws, Chris and I noticed a rack of Halloween-themed baked goods, including cookies, cupcakes, and, I must say, rather overpriced chocolate lollipops.
One specific item caught my eye: Halloween iced sugar cookies. I’m used to Christmas sugar cookies, with red and green sugar sprinkled over top, so an iced sugar cookie was something new. They had large packages for only 99 cents! Too good of an offer, I couldn’t refuse it.
I have surpassed myself.
In a previous post, I mentioned how, for the fill-a-bag event at Loblaws, one could fit about 10 bagels with efficient packing.
Well, I have outdone that.
It is common knowledge that November 1st is an excellent day to buy candy and chocolate, because it’s the day after Halloween and these things ought to go on sale.
I was tempted to title this post “Prosciutto, Pastrami, and Pbeets,” but decided against it.
It’s bagel time! Bagels were on sale at Metro last week so I bought two bags. They’re also on sale this week at Loblaws with the fill-a-bag event, so make sure that you go over there to stuff your bag full of bagels in the most efficient bagel-stuffing manner. The best way is to fill all the nooks and crannies of the bag and stuff it so that it’s pretty much overflowing.
I ran out of toast and, though I still have a few English muffins, I was in the mood for bagels. So today’s lunch is a bagel sandwich! Pastrami was also on sale at Metro and pastrami is delicious, so it was a good time for a pastrami bagel.
