Well, it was, anyway. A while ago. I’m late, I know. I told Edmond I’d have this post done by January and, well, it’s February 12th now. Sorry, Edmond.
That line is pretty much the only one I know from whatever song those lyrics are from.
It’s past the end of the holiday season, which is very sad because now it’s time to go back to real life, but it was nice while it lasted. Lots of time off, seeing friends and family…
Aaand free food, presents, and parties!
So many events, so little time. I’ll post the last episode of the World Cup series at some point, I promise.
Here is the first post of 2017 (which was supposed to be the last post of 2016, but we all know by now how slow I am at posting).
Happy Christmas, everybody!
I’m not sure when I started saying “Happy Christmas” instead of “Merry Christmas” but it sounds better to me, since who in this day and age actually uses the word “merry”?
Happy Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa, and happy Winter Solstice!
P.S. I have discovered Snapchat. I’m not good at it yet, though, and am not really sure how to use it all that well, but at least it is now installed. It’s a Christmas miracle.
I suppose that if we wanted to be politically correct, it ought to be called the “Iron Dragons Holiday Party,” but I’m not particularly concerned with being politically correct and I also like celebrating Christmas. I’m not religious in any way, so to me, “Christmas” is just a word representing “holiday in December where you get presents and food.” Please don’t read into that as any sort of political or religious stance because it isn’t one.
The above picture was taken when people were dancing. Desmond was dancing so fast he made the picture blurry.
